Samsung Gear to stay with Tizen OS

Last month Evan Blass tweeted that some Samsung employees were spotted rocking Gear smartwatches with Wear OS, instead of the in-house Tizen OS. Update: turns out these were actually just one-offs made by Google and seeded to some Samsung workers (i.e. keep moving, nothing to see here).— Evan Blass (@evleaks) June 7, 2018 A reasonable guess was that Samsung is preparing a switch or at least an extension of its smart wearable lineup.
